When the fashion metal accessories company “Eurostampaggi” decided to expand its factory by building an additional 600 square meters of office space, the headquarters was completely redesigned, starting from the façades to the individual offices equipped with customized furniture. The shell of the executive building is renovated by making a wooden slat banding, and the basement is clad in travertine so as to frame the green space in front of the entrance. A sunshade canopy protects the first-floor rooms from the sun and shelters a double row of photovoltaic panels. The windows result in dark cuts etched into the façade. The interiors are designed so that visitors are greeted into a kind of workshop whose furniture is completely custom-made, sometimes reusing handicrafts.
