This font was created in 1990 by Leonardo Mannini while preparing for his thesis. Initially the font combined the geometric and simple design of Italian rationalism and the necessity to be drawn quickly by hand with a square and a ruler. In 2011, the font was codified and transcribed on computer with slight design modifications.
