The Italian Alpine Club (CAI) has been given the task of designing a refuge in the natural park of Monte Marello, north of Florence, at an intersection of hiking trails. The concept involves the creation of a wooden parallelepiped within a frame structure on a stilt house. Accessibility to the building is guaranteed by a rear ramp designed with stone gabions.
